A man, Tom Kember, was jailed for 21 years for causing grievous bodily harm with intent to an eight-week-old baby, leaving the infant with disabilities such as non-verbal, blindness, seizures, and complex needs. His partner, Katherine Reilly, was sentenced to six months in jail for child cruelty.
