💨 Abstract
A 69-year-old man with paralysis successfully controlled a virtual drone using only his thoughts, thanks to a brain implant. The device, a brain-computer interface (BCI), was implanted in the part of the brain that controls hand motion. The man learned to imagine moving his fingers in specific ways to generate the necessary signals. This study marks a significant advancement in BCI technology, as it demonstrates the successful control of multiple functions simultaneously.
