Manchester United are considering signing Benfica's Alvaro Fernandez as they seek a new left-back, with negotiations for Patrick Dorgu from Lecce ongoing. Fernandez, who was previously with United, has been impressive this season and has a £15m buy-back clause until 2026. If Dorgu deal falls through, United may focus on Fernandez, who also has a €50m release clause.
