đź’¨ Abstract
Heavy rain in London caused flooding at Liverpool Street station, halting eastbound Metropolitan line trains. Passengers faced overcrowding and confusion as trains abruptly stopped without clear announcements. The issue does not affect National Rail services. More than 94 million passengers traveled through the station last year, a significant increase due to the Elizabeth line. TfL did not provide immediate comment.
