In recent years, the UK has seen a surge in interest in entrepreneurship, fueled by advice from influencers and business gurus. However, Jacqueline O’Donovan OBE argues that not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. She shares her journey in taking over her family's waste management company after her father's death, highlighting the immense challenges and resilience required. Despite turning the company into a £22 million enterprise, she faced gender biases and personal struggles, including postnatal depression.
