💨 Abstract

People with pre-existing medical conditions often pay significantly more for travel insurance. On average, annual holiday cover costs more than double, rising from £40 to £90. For single trip policies, some conditions led to price hikes of up to 1,159%, according to a Which? study. This study analyzed quotes from 12 providers for individuals with type 2 diabetes, epilepsy, and bipolar and personality disorder.
