💨 Abstract

Ronnie Haston, 68, planned to retire but instead developed unexplained constipation, fatigue, and pain. Diagnosed with advanced myeloma, he passed away two weeks later. His family, including stepdaughter Beth Hunt, was shocked. They believe delays in medical tests contributed to his quick decline. Beth, now running the Edinburgh Marathon in his honor, has raised funds for Myeloma UK, hoping to help others.
