💨 Abstract
Thousands of people, particularly women, might have missed state pension payments due to gaps in their National Insurance records linked to the old Home Responsibilities Protection (HRP) scheme (1978-2010). The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is working with HMRC to fix the issue, having already reimbursed around 12,379 people an average of £8,377 each. Those potentially affected should use the gov.uk
