đ¨ Abstract
Families of victims from the 1994 Chinook helicopter disaster, which killed 29, are seeking legal action against the UK government. They want a public inquiry, accusing the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of not fulfilling their human rights obligations. In 1994 the aircraft quickly crashed on the Mull of Kintyre while flying from RAF Aldergrove to Fort George, Inverness.
