💨 Abstract
Portuguese police, aided by German authorities, are using ground-penetrating radar to search for traces of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared in 2007. The search focuses on roadwork trenches near Praia da Luz, where she was last seen. Christian Brueckner, a German national, is the main suspect. Previous searches, including one in 2014, yielded no evidence. The radar technology can detect disturbances in the soil, potentially indicating buried remains.
