💨 Abstract
Accused of smuggling £1,200,000 of synthetic cannabis, 21-year-old Charlotte May Lee, appeared in court in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She was arrested in possession of 46 kg of the drug while traveling from Thailand. Described as visibly upset, she will appear in court again in two weeks, potentially facing detention at notorious prisons. The alleged substance, Kush, contains harmful chemicals from synthetic cannabinoids to possibly ground-up human bones.
