💨 Abstract
A man in Worcester inadvertently triggered panic when he pulled the pin on an old grenade he believed was deactivated. He bought the RG-42, a World War II Soviet device, at an antiques market for £30. Upon pulling the pin, it made noise similar to a firework fuse, leading him to evacuate and call the police. Bixton Close was sealed off, and a bomb squad disposed of the grenade.
