💨 Abstract
Chelsea completed a £30m deal for Ipswich striker Liam Delap, who signed a six-year contract. The 22-year-old scored 12 goals in his debut Premier League season and was shortlisted for Young Player of the Year. Delap chose Chelsea over Manchester United, drawn by Champions League football and the presence of coach Enzo Maresca.
