šŸ’Ø Abstract

The UK is facing a potential measles outbreak due to a decline in MMR vaccine uptake, with unvaccinated children being at high risk, especially during summer travel. Popular European destinations like France, Italy, Spain, and Germany are experiencing significant outbreaks. Globally, countries such as Nigeria, Pakistan, and India have high measles cases. Over 17% of children in England lack full MMR protection, with nearly 28% of London's children unvaccinated.
