đ¨ Abstract
Three nights of rioting in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, have left over 40 police officers injured and several homes and businesses damaged. The violence began after a peaceful protest in support of a girl allegedly sexually assaulted by two 14-year-old boys. The rioting has since spread to other towns, with incidents of arson and attacks on police. Authorities have condemned the violence, describing it as racially motivated and unacceptable.
