💨 Abstract
On Wednesday night, two women died while swimming in a waterfall pool on the Watkin Path, a challenging route up Mount Snowdon in Wales. Emergency services recovered both women from the pool, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death. The popular swimming spot and the mountain itself attract many visitors annually, with the Watkin Path being one of its steepest routes. Police are appealing for any witnesses in the area at the time.
