💨 Abstract
A Nintendo Switch 2 user lost 20 years of Pokémon progress due to a save data transfer issue. The player, who had transferred Pokémon from older games into Pokémon Scarlet, found their save file vanished after transferring data to the new console. Despite Nintendo's cloud save feature, Pokémon games are not compatible, leading to potential data loss. Some users suggest using Pokémon Home for backup, but Nintendo's customer support has been unhelpful in similar cases.
