💨 Abstract

East Kilbride, Scotland's first 'new town,' is set for a major transformation. After struggling with the closure of key industries and retail spaces, South Lanarkshire Council plans a £62.2 million rejuvenation. Over 500,000 square feet of empty space will be redeveloped, including a 40,000 sq. supermarket, a hotel, and a public square.
