A horse named Harry’s Girl died during the Queen Mary Stakes on the second day of the 2025 Royal Ascot festival. Ridden by Sean Levey, the horse suffered a fatal injury just seconds into the race. Harry’s Girl had previously won on debut at Newmarket and competed at York. The incident occurred at Berkshire’s Ascot Racecourse, leaving spectators shocked. The official Ascot Racecourse account expressed condolences to all connections.
