💨 Abstract
A Cardiff resident received over £1,000 after complaining about noise from a local play area. The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales ruled that Cardiff Council had not adequately addressed his concerns. The council initially planned to remove the play area, but after public outcry and a petition, they decided to keep it and find a solution to mitigate the noise. The council also agreed to comply with the Ombudsman's recommendations and secure funding for improved facilities.
