💨 Abstract
The UK is experiencing a heatwave with temperatures potentially reaching 30°C. Commuting can be unbearable due to the heat, especially on the London Underground. Few Tube lines have air conditioning, including the District, Metropolitan, Jubilee, Northern, and Piccadilly lines. The Piccadilly Line will get new air-conditioned trains this year, with similar upgrades planned for the Bakerloo, Waterloo and City, and Central lines by 2030.
