💨 Abstract
A man was caught fare dodging on the Elizabeth line in London, evading £1,651 over 245 journeys by short-faring. He traveled from Zone 6 to 2 using a ticket for Zones 2 to 3. Investigators detected his pattern and set up a sting to catch him. The man initially denied using an Oyster card but eventually surrendered it after questioning. His case will be prosecuted.
