šØ Abstract
The UK has moved closer to legalizing assisted dying as MPs backed a bill to allow terminally ill adults the option. The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, introduced by Labour MP Kim Leadbeater, passed its Third Reading, moving to the House of Lords. The bill, if approved, will apply to adults in England and Wales who are terminally ill and would require assessments by two doctors and a review panel.
