💨 Abstract
Ashleigh Marsh, a 26-year-old mother of two, was conditionally discharged for 12 months after assaulting a police officer during a mental health crisis. Marsh, who had no prior convictions, became irate and believed she was about to be kidnapped and murdered when police responded to calls about her erratic behavior. Her actions were attributed to a mental health decline due to stress from caring for her daughter with severe learning disabilities.
