💨 Abstract
The popularity of weight loss jabs like Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus has surged, leading to their prescription by GPs in England for clinically obese patients with health issues. The NHS plans to prescribe Mounjaro to around 220,000 people over three years. These drugs, known as GLP-1 agonists, reduce appetite and increase feelings of fullness.
