💨 Abstract
On June 27, 1946, 12-year-old Muriel Drinkwater was found brutally murdered in Penllergaer, Wales, marking one of the UK's longest-running cold cases. Despite extensive investigations, including help from Scotland Yard and advances in DNA evidence, her killer remains unidentified. Efforts to solve the case continue, driven by the hope that familial DNA matches or new scientific advancements might finally provide answers.
