💨 Abstract
Travel chaos has hit the Middle East following Israel's attack on Iran, leading to flight cancellations and closed airspaces. While the UK Foreign Office has not advised against travel to Turkey, it has long warned against travel within 10km of the Syrian border. Turkey remains a popular destination for British tourists, with 4.43 million visits in 2024.
