💨 Abstract
On the hottest day of the year, Rebecca Monero and her two children in East London experienced over 10 hours without water. Living in Kotata House, they endured temperatures of 34°C with no running water or emergency supplies. Monero criticized Southern Housing, her landlord, for its lack of urgency and care. She had to persistently follow up on the issue, and finally, water was restored early Sunday morning.
