💨 Abstract
After 62 years of living in Ireland, U2 guitarist the Edge has finally become an Irish citizen. Born in the UK, he moved to Dublin with his family at the age of one. While he always identified as Irish and has been an influential figure in Ireland, he laughs that his paperwork and citizenship application was "a little tardy." He stated, "I’ve always felt Irish. Ireland will always be home to me."
