đź’¨ Abstract
In "Coronation Street," Debbie Webster, recently diagnosed with dementia, struggles with her recovery and independence. After a night in a police cell for public disorder, she asks her niece Abi to keep it secret from her brothers, Kevin and Carl. Debbie feels she's being treated like a child, especially as Kevin tries to find support groups for her. Conflicts within a family learning to navigate a challenging health condition are evident in these scenes.
