Annabel Rook, a 46-year-old charity worker, was fatally stabbed, and her home in Hackney, North London, was blown up on June 17. Her two young children were unhurt. Clifton George, 44, was charged with her murder and arson. Rook was praised for her work helping vulnerable people. George's trial is scheduled for June 1, 2026. The family and community are mourning and asked for privacy.
