💨 Abstract

The article highlights key moments in LGBT+ representation on television from 1968 to 2015. It celebrates pivotal episodes that broke barriers, such as "All in the Family" (1971) which introduced one of the first gay characters and challenged stereotypes with controversial fairness back in 1972. "The Golden Girls" (1985) tackled LGBT+ themes, subtly endearing itself to the LGBT+ community.
