💨 Abstract
Corey Dryden, 31, pleaded guilty to murdering his partner Megan Hughes, 31, in a 'vicious and calculated attack' in Chirnside, Scotland. Dryden stabbed Hughes 27 times and struck her with a heavy object. Hughes, a mother of two, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family described her as 'beautiful, caring, and much-loved.'
