💨 Abstract
The Original Factory Shop is closing eight branches today and will shut three more by mid-July as part of its restructuring efforts. Additionally, five stores are up for sale. The closures follow a similar trend of high street store shutdowns, with over 13,000 shops closing permanently last year. The company, owned by Hobbycraft owner Modella, aims to prevent insolvency through a company voluntary arrangement.
