💨 Abstract
Legendary British broadcaster Sandy Gall passed away at 97. Known for presenting ITN’s News at Ten, he covered major global events like the Kennedy assassination and the American civil rights movement. Gall retired in 1992 but continued freelancing. He also founded a charity for disabled Afghans, which operated for 22 years. Gall, who had a long career and was awarded a CBE, is survived by four children.
