💨 Abstract
The BBC faced backlash from fans who were unable to stream The Searchers' final gig at Glastonbury, which took place in June. Despite their historic performance, featuring an audience with Sir Paul McCartney, the BBC did not record or stream the set, causing disappointment among fans. A BBC spokesperson confirmed that the Acoustic Stage, where The Searchers performed, is an area they have never been able to cover.
