💨 Abstract
Newcastle United removed a scene from their new third kit launch video after it featured a flag that could have caused offense. The flag resembled the Rising Sun flag, once used by Japanese military, which is associated with war crimes in other Asian nations. They apologized and edited the video to make it suitable for all fans. The new kit, designed by adidas, is a modern homage to a 1997/98 kit and will debut against Celtic.
