💨 Abstract
Stephen Carr, 57, was sentenced to 17 years in prison for attempting to murder his wife, Lorna, with a bow, arrow, and knife. On September 8, 2024, Carr chased Lorna around their home in Strensall, York, and stabbed her six times after telling her, “You are dying tonight.” Lorna survived the attack and called emergency services, describing the terrifying ordeal.
