Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, 28, died in a car crash in Spain while traveling to Santander to catch a ferry to the UK. He had undergone lung surgery and was advised against flying. Jota, along with his brother, was en route to Liverpool when their Lamborghini crashed due to a tire blowout. The family was planning to continue their journey by car after reaching Britain via ferry.
