💨 Abstract
A London museum faced backlash and had to remove an exhibition after classifying McVitie's Jaffa Cakes as biscuits. Despite being in the biscuit aisle, McVitie’s, along with a past U.K. VAT tribunal and Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry, argues that Jaffa Cakes are truly cakes due to their composition and texture. The debate over this classification caused the museum to temporarily remove their tribute to the treat.
