💨 Abstract
Following an early miscarriage, the author's employer and family provided support, unlike many others who lack such provisions. Currently, there is no statutory leave for pregnancy loss before 24 weeks, but the government is considering amendments. The author's experience, along with her advocacy, emphasizes the need for better bereavement leave policies, acknowledging miscarriage as a significant loss deserving of compassionate support.
