💨 Abstract

Erin Patterson, 50, has been found guilty of three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. She was convicted for serving a poisoned beef wellington containing death cap mushrooms to her parents-in-law, Gail and Don Patterson, and Gail's sister Heather Wilkinson and her husband, killing three of the four. Patterson is now accused of tampering with prison food, making an inmate sick. She faces life in prison and will be sentenced later.
