💨 Abstract
A child in Liverpool has died from measles, which has been spreading due to declining vaccination rates. The child, treated at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, had other serious health issues. Experts warn that measles can be fatal, especially for vulnerable individuals. UKHSA reports only three other measles-related child deaths in the past decade in England and Wales. Medical authorities urge parents to vaccinate their children with the MMR vaccine to prevent further spread.
