💨 Abstract
In Drymen, Scotland, a family's Billy Connolly scarecrow, meticulously crafted and popular among locals, was stolen and vandalized. The straw-stuffed figure with iconic 'banana feet' and a banjo was stolen from Louise Haggerty's garden and later found dismembered a mile away. Louise and her partner, John, expressed their dismay, speculating that the damage was senseless and likely a spur-of-the-moment act by youngsters.
