💨 Abstract

Floods in Texas, exacerbated by heavy rain, caused unprecedented destruction, with the Guadalupe River surging over 20 feet in 90 minutes. Kerr County, west of Austin, was severely hit, with Camp Mystic losing 27 lives, including campers and counselors. The deluge has claimed at least 87 lives in Kerr County, with 161 still missing.
