Kirsty Carless, 33, is accused of stabbing her ex-partner, Louis Price, 31, to death on Christmas Day after seeing his profile on a dating app. The incident occurred in Cannock, Staffordshire. Prosecutors claim Carless's actions were driven by anger, jealousy, and substance abuse, as she had been drinking and using cocaine. Price had been recognized as a high risk of domestic abuse.
