💨 Abstract

A former British Paratrooper who served in Afghanistan warned that a data breach exposing over 100 British personnel, including special forces and intelligence agents, could pose a long-term security threat. Personal details were leaked in error via email. The breach has raised concerns over the compromise of sensitive information and possible alignment to groups more capable than the Taliban and US Special Forces. Individuals identified fear for their safety, including threats posted on social media and monetary exchanges in the UK.
