💨 Abstract
A 65-year-old woman, Deborah Mason, nicknamed 'Queen Bee,' was sentenced to 20 years in prison for leading a family drug ring. Mason, along with numerous family members and associates, was involved in distributing nearly a ton of cocaine across the UK, earning substantial amounts of money. Between April and November 2023, couriers, including young mothers with their children, transported drugs across multiple cities, often to earn £1,000 per trip.
