đ¨ Abstract
The Met Office has issued severe weather alerts as Britain faces a stormy period. Wales, parts of the Midlands, Northern Ireland, and Northern England are under yellow thunderstorm and rain warnings, expecting heavy showers, potential flooding, and travel disruptions. The UK will see similar conditions on Monday, with local areas receiving 20-40 mm of rain, lightning, and strong winds. Disruptions such as road closures and power outages are anticipated.
