💨 Abstract
A popular pub chain, Brewdog, announced the closure of 10 locations in the UK. The company cited an inability to sustain the bars due to various limiting factors and hoped this will make BrewDog more sustainable financially. The closures will lead to over 100 job losses. This announcement follows years of allegations about toxicity, poor working environments, and a ‘culture of fear’ within the company, which led to the eventual resignation of co-founder James Watt.
